THE ROJA WAY
The ROJA WAY presents an environment conducive to the development of the whole player through quality training, study, competition and cultural growth. Our environment strives to ensure all players are given balanced and quality instruction.

ROJA WILL deliver a positive environment for every girl to participate, enjoy and achieve success. Our aim is to give every player an opportunity to play soccer, and financial hardship will not prohibit a player from playing for NFC Roja.

In adopting the ROJA WAY of soccer, we strive to foster an environment free from the “learn from failure” mentality, where our players can explore and be creative without the worry of making mistakes. NFC Roja believes that such an environment, with no limitations, is where our players can grow the most and realize their potential both as athletes and people. The motivation to play an elegant style of soccer must be greater than the fear of losing.

Mistakes will be inevitable, and games may be won or lost through players “trying things” such as short passes and building up from the back. However, we never benchmark our players, teams, or coaches success purely on results, especially in U8 – U13 where players develop both physically and technically at much different rates (e.g., the most dominant player or team at U9 is seldom the most dominant player or team at U12).

ROJA'S VISION

NFC Roja will strive to create and nurture a valuable soccer learning experience. To achieve this goal, we will make every effort to ensure that our well-educated coaches develop the skills, fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship. Our coaches will cultivate and perpetuate these qualities at all levels of their soccer growth. We will endeavor to empower our players with a life-long passion and love for the game of soccer.

ROJA will offer a healthy perspective on both winning and losing. Success is defined by improvement, effort, competitive spirit and team play.
