ACADEMY (U8-U10)

WHAT IS ACADEMY?

ROJA’s Academy program is designed for U8, U9, and U10 players who excel at the recreational level and require a more challenging, developmentally appropriate environment in order to maximize their potential. Building on the skills learned in Junior Academy, ROJA Academy caters to developing and sharpening a player’s technique, confidence, and creativity on the ball, while fostering decision-making both on and off the ball. All Academy players are expected to demonstrate focus, and a willingness to learn and compete.

ACADEMY AGES

This program is for all players born in 2013, 2012 and 2011, ages 7, 8 and 9.

PRACTICE & GAME EXPECTATIONS

• Attend 2 practices a week during fall, winter, and spring seasons

• Participation in local league play (7 v 7 format with team roster of 10-14 players)

• Participate in 3 local tournaments throughout the year (included in registration fee)

• Participate in in a competitive indoor league in the winter (included in registration fee)

COST

$700 per year

TEAM FORMATION

There are no competitive tryouts for ROJA Academy. Players interested in joining the Academy program may attend our Academy Clinic and Team Formation events. Players may join at any time throughout the year.
