BIOGRAPHY

Phil Rhodes was a founding coach for ROJA Futbol Club in 2017, currently coaching the ROJA 2006 Premier and U7 Junior Academy teams.

A coaching veteran of more than 14 years, Rhodes has experience at the highest levels of club soccer in the state. Before joining the ROJA coaching staff, he spent five seasons with the Toro Soccer Club (2006-11) and six seasons with the Elite Girls Academy (2011-17).

"Coaching is my passion, I take it very seriously. I have had the joy of training some special kids along the way. Some of them now are playing college soccer at Nebraska, Kansas State, College of St. Mary’s, and Wayne State."

Coach Rhodes is determined to improve girl's youth soccer in Nebraska. He has two daughters Morgan, who is playing soccer for Wayne State, and Madi who plays on the ROJA 2006 Premier team and Millard West High School.

Why did I choose to coach for ROJA?

ROJA chose me. Marc Brunt and I share the same vision. I coach to help create confident young ladies on and off the field. I love the game – I love seeing players get better with hard work.
