OMAHA, Neb. – Jordynne Piittmann signed a national letter of intent to play soccer at College of Saint Mary. Piittmann is a three-year letterwinner at Treynor (Iowa) High School.  She plays on the Roja High School team coached by Mike O’Dell and Dave Henson.

During her three seasons, Piitmann appeared in 34 games (15 starts) for the Cardinals. She tallied five goals and three assists in her career and helped lead the Cardinals to a combined 39-11 and a berth in the Iowa High School State Tournament.

Coach Mike O’Dell’s comments on Jordynne’s commitment
“Jordynnne has been my defensive captain for the last two years following me from my previous club. Her intensity and love of the game let me know my defense was in very capable hands. Proud to have gotten the opportunity to see her play and prep her for that next level.”

Coach Jordan Irsik’s comments on Jordynne’s commitment
“Jordynne has great size and composure for a central defender. She comes from a strong high school program in Treynor and has had great club coaching. Outside of what she does on the field, her character and leadership are obvious when you speak to her. She is an excellent student and is very driven in all aspects. She’ll fit in with our team really well and will only continue to grow in her time here.”

Piittmann on her commitment
“CSM has a super inviting environment. They offer my major and area of study and they also offer the sport I love the most.”

Jordynne was a great addition to her high school soccer team. She worked well with her teammates and showed a love for the game that many kids don’t show these days. Working through injuries, she always had a smile on her face and an idea of how to improve the game for herself and others. I look forward to seeing what jordynne can do in the future and was lucky to have been a small part of her soccer journey.
